nice. This is like having lessons how to play this music by observing the diffferent approaches to the same tune. It doesn't like they have to think about anything but just with conviction, courage and inspiration from God.

I hate Benson's pop jazz but I have so much respect for the man! This proves my theory that a musician needs to prove they can play the music of their roots in spite of the modern stuff they may normally play! So if you play fusion, smooth jazz or any modern style then you need to prove that you can bop! If you play metal or any form of rock then you need to prove you can play blues! That's my theory anyway! That's how players win my repect for what it's worth.

i don't know any jazz, rock, fusion musician who's in any worth at all who couldn't play the blues... about the pop thing, what much more important is how do his music so well not just some guitar solos that u want to see, although that's so amazing too
