Description:

"Snickers Open The Bar Troll" [Updated] Content Disclaimer[1]: The information provided below is merely my testimony regarding a video and it's owner. Allegations of sock-puppeting, trolling, fixing, cheating, etc. are purely speculation and are based upon my interpretation of the portrayed events truthfully described below. Therefore, it is suggested to reserve judgment until research of the video's contents and member's profile in question. This is a video response to a Snickers Satisfies Entry video and what appears to be the contestant's attempts to "fix" the contest with trolled (a.k.a. sock-puppet) comments, ratings, reviews and her subsequent reaction to my publicly announced accusations. Dated Thursday, September 28th, 2006, the contestant's MySpace blog "VOTE FOR ME!!!!!" provided a link to the "Snickers Open The Bar" video submitted for the Snickers Satisfies Contest[2]. She offered: "All comments, votes, and ratings welcomed." Upon watching the entire video and concluding my thoughts, something struck me as strange - The amount of comments and views despite such a short public airing. Upon investigating, I noticed many of the "viewers" had joined the self-same day (literally minutes) of her video having been uploaded. Upon even closer scrutiny, it was clear the "viewers" had watched either ONLY the video in question or NONE at all. Coincidence? Instead of echoing the clichéd testimonials, I provided an honest evaluation of the contestant and her clearly forged comments. (Below is the actual comment in it's entirety and unedited form which has since been deleted). "Although her video is slightly appealing (and only so because sex sells - and nothing is sexier than a lesbian selling chocolate covered caramel, peanuts, and nougat) her attempts to bolster her image are all too apparent. As of now - Amidst the 12 viewers whom were kind enough to comment on the video (1 of which was herself) I noted 7 "viewers" (sock puppets/trolls) had joined YOUTUBE yesterday...coincidentally, the same day her jingle was uploaded." In response, Circa 10:30pm CST the following day, I received a telephone call from her. Throughout her delusion tirade, in which she implicitly prosecuted me of sexual relations with my late mother, she accused me of attempting to "ruin her image" (by revealing her sexual preference[1]). In my defense, by her own admission (written and oral), she is lesbian[3]. Since she had publicly proclaimed her sexual orientation, her accusations are futile. It's up to you, the viewer to decide for yourselves whether or not she has attempted to fix the contest. The "evidence*" is all within her comments by simply reviewing the profiles of the "troll" members. 1. Laughably, she had recently threatened legal action for slander. Slander is oral. Libel is defined as a written or oral defamatory statement or representation that conveys an UNJUSTLY unfavorable impression. [Emphasis mine] 2. Excerpts of the Official Rules: "Sponsor...reserves the right...to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest should any...unauthorized human intervention...corrupt or affect the...fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest...Sponsor reserves the right...to disqualify any entrant...from this Contest...if he or she tampers with the entry process or if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Contest...By participating in this Contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules." 3. Visit her Myspace profile and note the black female in several suggestive pictures. She is reported to be have been (if not currently) her "partner". She is also friends of THE BLISS CLUB (self-dubbed "The Premier Bi Girl Organization of the World") and many other admitted lesbians, bisexuals, crossdressers, etc. which doesn't necessarily support my assertions, but neither does it help her refuted claims of denial. *Every negative comment (to date) has been deleted. Therefore, the comments which I have seen and referenced are not be reflected on her video comments. You will have to take my word for it as there have been many poor reviews which are no longer publicly viewable. Sources: SNICKERS® BRAND SATISFACTION SING-OFF CONTEST. 30 Sept. 2006. The contestant mentioned in the making of this video did NOT make the semi-finals. Thus the contestant has removed said video and cancelled both Myspace accounts. Thanks to the Snickers officials for their decision regarding the matter.

We (the American public) are receptive of political recommendations/testimonials as we don't know much more about politics and therefore will vote for whomever a popular public official advocates. Imagine if a portion of the Snickers Satisfies judging criteria is based upon the ratings, comments, number of views and/or favorites. It's understandably unfair towards the other participants whom justly promoted their work and are overlooked because of a false popularity opinion.

My arguement is clear: Regardless of the quality of the song/video - making a selfish attempt to sway a judge's vote or to forge a public opinion by such means is unfair.

Read my introduction. In a nutshell, I'm accusing a contestant of sock-puppeting her video with false reviews/ratings. Speculation - yes, but very circumstantial. A majority of the comments were left by members who've watched 0 videos (according to their profiles).
