tjerja ::: Favorites 2007-11-10 04:04:26 Ola!, Noticed the smileys?? You can imagine me (and all other youtube viewers) are both surprised AND amused that a strong conceptual design collective of your caliber would feature in such a lightweight promoclip. There's no need for you to get so insulting. Be prepared for usercomments when you publicly post something. If this short clip states your reputation in a wrong way, then post an extended version instead. I must say I can hardly wait to see the whole documentary. relax & peace out. __________________________________________________
experimentaldanny ::: Favorites 2007-11-09 15:05:31 Based on the fact that you scrutinize my words (and appearance) in a very unfair way, without taking into consideration that my words were indeed heavily edited. __________________________________________________
experimentaldanny ::: Favorites 2007-11-09 14:40:11 I do have amazing students. Although, to be honest, in the clip I wasn't talking about my students, but about ourselves as students: "All that hunting for the next typeface every time, it took a lot of energy, and I can still remember, as students, that we were really disappointed because, you wanted to use a certain typeface..." etc. etc. __________________________________________________
tjerja ::: Favorites 2007-11-09 14:22:18 ignorant? based on what? normally a trailer/promo clip has a meaning. :) __________________________________________________
experimentaldanny ::: Favorites 2007-11-09 14:19:06 Point is, you talk for 3 hrs, which is then compressed into 2 minutes. So what remains are some out-of-context remarks, and a stupid joke towards the end, that suddenly becomes the crux of the interview. But that's how these things work, and I'm not complaining. The documentary as a whole looks great. I always assumed that all viewers understand that docs work that way. But I guess there are always a few ignorant ones. __________________________________________________
tjerja ::: Favorites 2007-11-07 16:42:50 subversive sides of modernism?... consistent subcultures? He looks quite nervous while talking. I'm still wandering what he's trying to say: Everybody's useing helvetica? ;P __________________________________________________
Nanocrypt ::: Favorites 2007-10-30 20:02:45 What's wrong with their website? __________________________________________________
PunchinTheMunchkin ::: Favorites 2007-10-29 13:51:23 Experimental Jetset should put a little more effort into their website. And, if they stole their name from Sonic Youth's "Experimental Jetset, Trash and No Star," then they should put a little more effort into their name, too. __________________________________________________
