Description: this is a first quick ´n´ dirty usability test of the magicCarpet, a game console which would be build of a LED-Matrix that covers a matrix of footpads. You could run games like pong, brick break, twister, hopscotch, dance dance revolution and many others more in a completely new way. The target group are kids from 6 to 14 years, but like the Wii, we think that adults also will love it. You can train your physical and mental skills very well, because you need to step around on the interactive carpet which has a surface area of 4m² (2x2 metres) that is a input and also a output device. this first test finished very well and all the people wanted more. they wanted the next prototype... soundtrack available at: http://www.thomasglaeser.de/privat/unabhaengige_arbeiten/SPIELTRIEB%20soundtrack%20-% |
