Comedians like bill cosby, rodney dangerfield, larry the cable guy are really talented, and they don't need to rely on cussing either. The humor is in the jokes that the profanity perforates. Richard Pryor performed this in 1979, in a time where everything that was said and introduced was completely relevant. He was an innovator, the first entertainer to pull is comedic ideas from real life, and to produce an opinion based on profanity and saying it would take away from his performance is disgraceful to this man's legacy.
