Description:

I had shot this footage before we decided to do the video with the help of my friend Brian. I was just going to let this footage go...but when I went back through the studio vids I found some things that we had forgotten to address in them. I had a young drummer asking for assistance with an up coming studio gig and I felt it would be helpful for him to have some of this info...I hope it ends up helping other drummers as well. BzB :-)

Hey stationmaster12...thanks for the kind words and comment. As for getting work as a session drummer, the way I did it was to just make my self known to the studios. I looked them up in the phone book and started going around introducing myself. These days we have Craigs list...BzB :-)

Bazy, I'm trying to get more into a working status in music here in Orlando. I play twice a week at church and I'm trying to get a job at a local music store. Anything taht I can do to get into the enviorment. I have great gear(Pearl MMX with Sabian and Yamaha DTXpress 3 kits). How do I go about getting into the scene of session work. I love to play with different musicians. Please advice!! Thanks! P.S. Great vids..and dig the V-Drums!

Thats cool...Yep...it is a great technique to help keep everyone in time even when they do not all see each other in the studio. BzB :-)

Makes sense I guess. Keeps everyone in time. You can always speed up or slow down an individual track in editing as well so it's all good. (I use a mac/logic btw)

No...I meant exactly what I said...A "Click Track"...A click track is a metronome sound that is placed on one track of the audio so that it can be played back in synch with the rest of the audio for multiple track recordings and musicians that were not present for the initial track can automatically synch their playing to the original track or tracks. BzB :-)
