The panel features a conversation between: former Secretary of State, George P. Shultz; former Ambassador and Head of the United States Delegation to the Negotiations with the Soviet Union on Nuclear and Space Arms in Geneva, Max Kampelman; and former Ambassador to Finland and the German Democratic Republic, Rozanne Ridgway. The panel is moderated by Hoover research fellow, Peter Robinson. The panel discussion is structured around specific national or geographic regions (i.e. North Korea, India, and South Asia, Iran and the Middle East), focusing on how Reagan's ideas about nuclear Weapons affected the way those changes were addressed or whether his ideas were not pursued by his successors as they faced new challenges.
